When was the last time your Electric Installation had a MOT?

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. They should therefore be inspected and tested at appropriate intervals to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued service.

Your electrics should be inspected and tested every:

  • 10 years for an owner-occupied home.
  • 5 years for a rented home

The pictures below show the effects of a loose connection under load conditions within a fuse board.

An electrical installation condition report may have prevented this from happening.
